Get To Know Us

Thank you for visiting our website, we appreciate your time here. Allow me to introduce myself, my name is Andrew Jay Mayon, and I am the owner/photographer of Triad Real Estate Photography located in Greensboro, NC.

In 2003, my wife and I planned to move back to the Mainland from Maui, where we had lived for a number of years.  At that time, we used the internet to begin our search for a new home. As we began searching for homes in Greensboro, we were frustrated time and time again by either 1) the poor quality of the images representing the homes or, 2) there was only one image available. It dawned on us that REALTORS and Sellers may be missing potential buyers because of this simple oversight. With so many people relocating to North Carolina, it was obvious to us how critical it is to have great photographs in order to excite potential buyers and motivate them to see the properties. That frustration was the impetus for us starting triadrealestatephotography.com in November 2008.

My passion for photography began when I was 16 when I spent the summer in Europe as a deckhand on the private yacht, CARMAC VI. We cruised throughout the northern Mediterranean sea, and explored numerous cites and islands of Italy, Greece, and what was then Yugoslavia. I became fascinated with capturing architecture, landscapes and the general splendor of the Old World. This fascination has continued to follow me throughout my life. I have been blessed to have traveled to many parts of the world and photograph amazing places like Hawaii, Thailand, Germany, Switzerland, China, the Bahamas, and many parts of the U.S. My time spent behind the lens has given me great appreciation for the world that surrounds me, and I look at things differently than most.

I also have a significant background in home furnishings and interior design, as my family owned and operated a high end retail furniture showroom on Maui. We were involved in many high-end projects, so I also have a keen eye for that aspect of light and design. This gives me a strong foundation as a real estate photographer as you will note from my portfolio. Here is a link to an article about my company: "Filling a market niche took surfer to success on Maui".

My goal as your photographer is not just to "take pictures." My photographs are intended for two sole purposes, 1) to portray you as a professional Real Estate Broker, who surrounds themselves with a team of professionals and 2) to SELL THAT HOME! Since the internet is a vital part of home searches, it is critical that you provide your client (or if you are a seller, your agent) with images that will excite potential buyers emotionally, and motivate them to view the property. The more visitors to the home, the more opportunities to sell it. In my view, I am a partner in your business, please consider me as an investment in your success.

You'll find I am easy to work with, prompt, professional and courteous. I am conscientious of the homes I photograph, and while I leave a small footprint, I make a lasting impression, and so do my photographs.

We look forward to working with you, and appreciate the opportunity to help you "MAXIMIZE Your Online Curb Appeal."TM

Aloha a hui hou!
